The End is just the Beginning

As my high school career comes to a close I find myself reflecting on my adolescent years. I have had some amazing memories. I have gone through hard times but through those hard times I made amazing friends. And it is those friends that I have made memories with that will last me a life time. God works in mysterious ways. His grace, power, and love overwhelms me everyday. I am definitely not the same person I was when I started this blog about 2 years ago. God has molded me and shaped me more and more each day into the person that He wants me to be. So as I close out this blog I would like to give some encouragement to those reading. Life is constantly changing. If you are in a rough spot, going through a storm in life, hold on to the fact that it will Not last forever. Also remember that God is right by your side every step of the way. Let Him be your strength and your guide. He wants to be those things for you. He wants you to trust Him with everything. God is so good. So trust Him.

Now a walk down memory lane. :)

Thank you to all of my friends and family for being a part of my life. You all mean the world to me and I am so glad that I get to share this life with you. You have helped shape me into the person that I am today and help keep my fire burning when I am at my lowest. Keep spreading the Love of Christ.

Lost

You innocent little soul, how did you get so lost..
Lost in a world that tries to mold you, tries to change, and destroy .
Your foundation can be a kingdom made out of gold but instead you choose broken glass that cuts, that stabs, that scars, and hurts.
What good does it do you, to act the way you do? Momentary pleasure compared to eternity. There is no comparison.
You have fallen down. That does not mean you cannot get back up.
On your knees, hands supporting your soul with what strength you have left, head hanging with the weight of the world.

It is here you are weakest, therefore He is strongest.

Begging to be numbed? He gives relief.

Begging to be forgiven? He forgave you before you sinned.

Begging to be clean? He shed His blood to cover your dirty life.

We aren’t worthy. In fact we disappoint Him each day with our sins.
Each day we prove over and over again why we should NOT be worthy of His love.
Guess what? He loves us anyways.
In all our brokenness, in all our shame, in all our dirtiness, in all our sin
He stays the same.
Open your eyes world.
He is waiting with open arms.
All you have to do is fall into them.

My Savior

Thoughts swim around in my head.

Memories beat against my skull whipping around like a hurricane.

Anxiety creeps in the corner waiting to attack.

SAVE ME. I scream and cry.

But does anyone hear?

I need help. I need a savior.

When I am all alone, backed into a corner, with nowhere to run,

I feel a tap on my heart.

He was standing next to me all along.

Take my hand He says.

As I reach forward and grasp it tight

I feel a rush of warmth and see a light.

Not from my surroundings but from deep inside my soul.

God shines bright inside of me as a reminder,

That no matter how big the mountains or how dark the world may be,

He is always with me.

Healer of Hearts

In those times you feel that your heart is tearing apart on the inside,

On the inside where no one can see,

There is one who can see.

He can see the pain behind the mask.

He sees through the fake smile, right into your soul.

Cry out His name.

Creator of the Heavens and earth:

God, Lord, Father, Yahweh, Emmanuel.

When your heart is tearing apart, He can hold it together.

When you cannot handle life, seek rescue in His loving embrace.

He blesses you with love and peace.

He gives you exactly what you need.

When you are on your knees crying and wishing you could change the past,

Remember that you still have a future,

And it is bright with healing and happiness through Christ.

Burning Flame of Desire

There is a fire burning behind these eyes.

A fire that cannot be caged.

Fire spreads fast.

It can kill

but it can also bring souls back to life.

It can melt a heart of ice.

It can bring passion back into a lifeless soul.

Spread that fire for good and not evil.

Let God's love burn in your heart and light you up for the world to see.

God burns inside me.

He is a fire that will never go out.

How exactly do we show love?

A cross

Nails pinning flesh to wood

A crown of thorns

All sin put upon His shoulders

This is how Christ showed us.

Nothing can ever compare,

but never stop trying to continue His gift.

For love is best when shared.

Whether it is a kiss, a smile, a hug, or a single rose

Spread love.

What is Christmas without Christ?

the point of Christmas is to recognize the gift God gave us: Jesus.

He sent His only son to earth to die a death meant for us.

Christmas is about celebrating the love Christ has for us and we have for each other.

Gifts are a great way to show someone you love them, but Christmas has become all about gifts. Christmas sales everywhere and kids Expecting presents to be under the tree.

Kids get upset when they don't get what they want. Since when has being loved a thing that upsets people? The concentration is so focused on the event of gifts that the idea of giving has been looked over. When you give a gift to someone you show them you care about them and are thanking them for being in their life. God gave us Jesus. When we accept Him into our heart He thanks us by giving us eternal life with Him. Remember these things this Christmas. Without Christ there would be no Christmas. Celebrate love and family. Merry Christmas everyone :)
